This project started out as an Airbnb house. It was designed by us with 2 Master Suites, so it could be rented by 2 couples. It is a beautiful country house situated right on a nice pond. After we completed the design and started construction the homeowner decided that he loved the house so much that he decided to move in himself.

The house has many energy efficient features such as on demand hot water heater, spray foam insulation, ICF (insulated concrete forms) for the basement walls, ultra-high efficiency heat pumps, all LED lighting controlled by a master system, energy efficient windows and doors and more.

The house also has many high end products used in its construction. Some of the features are as follows: Standing seam metal roof, Hardi cement siding, Boral exterior trim (rot Proof), Marvin windows, Bamboo decking, stainless steel cable rails around decks, Advantech ZIP sheathing on all exterior walls and roof(this is the premium product on the market) Advantech subfloors (50 year rot warranty), synthetic stucco on the foundation, 2x6 exterior walls, custom tile work in the bathrooms, curbless walk in showers (no obstructions for easy entry), 2 electrical panels (set up so that a generator can be added for emergency power) house prewired for solar panels, custom stone work and so many more features.

The owner was wonderful to work with and was very glad he picked Craftsman Construction for this project. This house will last 2 lifetimes and more, so it can be passed down for generations.
